Most toddlers will cry over almost anything, but not all have web-savvy fathers who see their tikes’ meltdowns as a way to have a laugh online. Greg Pembroke, of Rochester, N.Y., has started a Tumblr page, “Reasons My Son is Crying,” devoted to his sons’ temper tantrums.

Today’s news about Justin Bieber is lighter than it has been lately.

It’s not that he has collapsed onstage, canceled a concert, attacked a paparazzo, or been banned from a club, but simply that the 19-year-old has cut his hair. That’s right, the Biebs has a new ‘do.

The “Boyfriend” singer’s new look features a partially shaved head, just like Rihanna and Miley Cyrus have both worn in recent years, and somewhat reminiscent of that totally awesome style icon, Mike Score of A Flock of Seagulls, back in the ’80s.

It’s edgier than the sideswept locks he sported when he first hit the scene as a teeny bopper, and s a lot less polished (read: gelled) than the super-styled coif he’s worn lately.

Tom Cruise admits that he wasn’t expecting Katie Holmes to leave him. But he adds, quote, “Life is a challenge. To be 50 and have experiences and think you have everything under control, and then it hits you . . . that’s what life is. Life is tragicomic. You need a certain sense of humor.”

This could be completely bogus, but a gossip website claims that Katy Perry was making out with her ex-husband Russell Brand at a place called Soho House in Los Angeles.

There have been some rumors lately that Chris Brown and Rihanna broke up. But Rihanna had a show Monday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and Chris watched most of it from the VIP area.

On “Letterman” last night, Lindsay Lohan got grilled about why she is not in rehab yet. She said she’s starting her 90-day rehab stint on May 2nd. She also called rehab, quote, “a blessing not a curse.” Dave grilled Lindsay on whether or not she’s an addict, and what she’s addicted to, but she didn’t give him any real answers.

President Obama has been deemed the most literate of the 10 most-followed celebrities on Twitter. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga were close behind. Their Tweets clock in at about a sixth-grade level. Justin Bieber finished dead last. His Tweets aren’t even above a first-grade level.

Radaronline reports that Jessica Simpson’s mom Tina was so devastated when she found out hubby Joe was cheating on her with a man that she wrote a suicide note in which she threatened to not only kill herself, but to shoot Joe over his infidelities. She didn’t destroy the letter and a source says Joe found it. He gave to his divorce lawyer to use as a bargaining tool for a settlement.

“Breaking Bad” will come to an end this summer . . . but “TV Guide” says there could be a spin-off, starring Bob Odenkirk’s character, Saul Goodman. There are no deals in place yet, but supposedly Bob would be interested.

Alec Baldwin may be the next late night host. Deadline.com reports that NBC has been in talks with Baldwin about possibly taking over the 1:35 am hour, currently held by Last Call with Carson Daly.

I guess I am just getting old because I am starting to look down on the younger generations, so excuse me if you have heard this before.

A community in Terre Haute is up in arms after the family of a recently deceased blind woman killed her healthy guide dog so he could be buried alongside her.

The woman died of cancer on March 8 and after telling her children that she wanted her loyal Labrador, to be buried along with her. However, the dog was a healthy 5-year-old dog.

To fulfill his mother’s wish, her son put the dog down and buried the animal with his mother a few days after her death. Andy began to receive death threats from the town as well as members of his own family.

A veterinary assistant at the local animal Hospital said, “the neighborhood was really angry. People were saying they should burn in hell.”

Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened.

Jennifer Love Hewitt could be the latest star to take out an insurance policy on a part of their body. In a recent interview with USA Today, “The Client List” star was asked if she’d ever insure her breasts.

Of course a reporter would ask a woman such an offensive question. But being the good sport that she is … Jenny Love went along with it and joked that she wouldn’t turn down the chance to insure what many consider to be her best assets.

“I need like an insurance invitation,” she said. “If someone’s like, ‘You know what? We would like to insure your boobs for $2.5 million [each], I’d be like, ‘Do it!’ Love it. Why not?”

We’d love to read that insurance policy if it lists all of the ways her breasts can face injury.

Other stars who have insured body parts include Dolly Parton, who took out a $600,000 insurance policy on her breasts, Holly Madison, who insured hers for $1 million, and Heidi Klum, who had her legs insured for $2 million. Mariah Carey’s legs are also rumored be insured for a whopping $1 billion, and Bruce Springsteen is said to have insured his voice for $6 million.

I am the absolute worst when it comes to getting to sleep at night! I normally lie in bed for at least an hour before I fall asleep (if I do at all).

It almost sounds too easy, but perhaps the single most effective route to predictable sleep is to consistently fall asleep at the same time.

Chances are you’re not doing anything all that special after midnight anyway, so turn off the TV and call it a night.

Developing a pre-sleep routine is a time-proven way to avoid that staring-at-the-ceiling feeling.

You probably already have a ritual, even if you barely notice it while it’s happening.

It’s called a “bedroom” for a reason. Keep it sacred!

Laptops and smartphones are the latest offenders, but we’ve all been guilty of letting extracurricular activities contaminate the bedroom. So draw the line once and for all. The bed isn’t a place to work, check e-mail, watch movies, work out, or snack.

What’s the risk, you ask? Outside stuff keeps you thinking when you should be sleeping. Modern technology in particular has a way of chipping away at a solid bedtime and disrupting a pre-sleep schedule.

The answer, in three words: Turn. It. Off.

OK, there’s one extracurricular activity worth letting into the bedroom.

The benefits of sex before bed are virtually endless. It enhances the sleep cycle, promotes deeper sleep, and increases drowsiness – especially for men. Women know what I’m talking about.

Sex also makes you feel good. Life is full of constant worries and never-ending problems, but sex clears the slate and makes life seem more promising. When you’re calm and happy, it’s easier to sleep.

Daily physical exercise – just not in the bedroom! – is a great way to end the day ready to sleep like a baby. Sleep is the original workout recovery, and a great way to have more in the tank tomorrow is to drain it today. Don’t hold back – give yourself something to recover from!

The gym is a great place to get exhausted, but there are countless other activities that can be done in and around the house on a moment’s notice for little to no cost.

You could run, jump rope, do yoga, walk the dog, ride a bike-you get the picture. And just like sleep, getting in a workout routine makes the transition to an active lifestyle much easier.

Our bedrooms are often far brighter than we realize. So as part of your bedtime ritual, make yours as dark as it can be. Shut down the computer, track down those blinking lights you never notice until they’re driving you crazy, and draw the curtains.

This may sound compulsive, but it really helps. Your body associates darkness with night and sleep. Use it to your advantage!

Truly deep breathing requires use of the stomach rather than the upper chest. Try this for yourself right now by lying down and placing a book on your stomach.

With each inhale, your stomach should lift the book, and with each exhale, the book should lower.

Using your diaphragm and other deep abdominal muscles to breath is how the body was designed. Yes, your belly will look bigger, but nobody can see your bulging gut in bed.

Think of it this way: You already breathe this way when you’re asleep!

Tonight, when you’re in bed, focus on the rise and fall of your stomach like it’s the only thing happening in the whole world. It’ll help get your body into the physical mechanics of deep sleep and push everything else out of your mind.

Just the sound of a warm shower or a filling bath is relaxing. It stops your mind from racing and is an easy last stop before crawling into the sack.

Physically, a shower is a great way to get warm and cozy. But the mental component is just as important. Attach it to your nightly ritual and see if you can actually feel the day melt away.

It’s not just the baristas who are to blame. The bottomless coffee pot is a fixture in many offices, so much so that it can be hard to even keep track of how much caffeine we drink over course of the day.

Even if you barely notice the rush anymore, caffeine stays in your system longer than you probably think – especially for men.

If your mind is still running after dark, it’s time to get strict. Use caffeine to wake up, but keep it in the morning.

Don’t drink coffee, tea, soda, or energy drinks in the afternoon, and definitely not at night.

Don’t mess with the Lohan.

Justin Bieber wrote a long message on Instagram complaining about all the negative press he’s been getting, saying he’s a really good person and bragging about his success.  He ended it with this . . . quote, “And to those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan, look at her 2012 tax statements  “  He quickly deleted that part of the post.  Sources say Lindsay has already heard about this, and is NOT cool with it.

Katy Perry is ready to write her life story. The singer has signed a $3.2 million deal to pen her autobiography, reportedly to be titled Part of Me

The 9-year-old daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards was reportedly bullied in school so badly last year, that they had to take her out . . . because the school wouldn’t do anything about it.  So Charlie went on Twitter yesterday and asked his fans to deliver, quote, “a rotten egg, a roll of toilet paper or some dog [crap]” to the school.  The school has added extra security, but they say they handled the issue appropriately last year.

“Forbes” has named Oprah the most influential celebrity for the second year in a row.  Apparently, OWN is starting to catch on, thanks in part to some big “gets”, like her interview with Lance Armstrong.  She’s followed by Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorcese, Ron Howard and George Lucas.

The Halle Berry thriller “The Call” goes up against the Steve Carell movie “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” this weekend.

A TV “data group” is putting out a list of The 50 Shows That Changed TV.  They have one for each year from 1963 to 2012 . . . but for now, they’ve only released the ones from the ’60s and ’70s.  It includes:  “Jeopardy”, “Star Trek”, “Sesame Street”,“Wheel of Fortune” and “Dallas”.

Ed Sheeran had his first night opening up for Taylor Swift on Wednesday night, and he made it memorable . . . by slipping and falling pretty hard onstage.

This is perfect for the part of me that wants to workout and the part of me that is hungry.

Now you can eat out and work out – at the same time! A new pop-up restaurant in London allows you to exercise while you eat. Diners can enjoy a “calorie neutral” menu that lets them burn off 573 calories while chowing down. The restaurant, called Steam, advises diners to wear loose fitting clothing for the 90-minute experience. Upon entering the restaurant, they’re offered metabolism-boosting green tea and cold liquids in preparation for their workout. Then, they participate in a standing-only 40-minute exercise class which combines Pilates, yoga and Tai chi. The room is kept chilly so patrons won’t sweat before dinner and to enhance the calorie burn. After that, they feast on the menu while sitting on chairs with seat pads that vibrate for 30 minutes. And once the meal is complete, people can socialize while burning more calories by playing ping pong, using a boxing bag, and performing exercise band workouts. Fitness nuts will eat this up!
